Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP)

If you are thinking about immigration to Calgary, Edmonton or any other city in Alberta, consider the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).

Becoming a permanent resident through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is a two-step process: first, an applicant needs to apply under the AINP who then decides whether to nominate the applicant based on his or her qualifications, ability to become economically established and contribute important economic benefits to the province, and intention to permanently settle in Alberta. Secondly, once an applicant is nominated by AINP, the applicant and his or her family members can apply for a permanent resident visa with Citizenship and Immigration Canada who makes the final approval on the case by taking into account medical and criminal admissibility of the applicant and his family members.

Successful applicants will receive an Alberta Provincial Nomination Certificate, which will speed-up the Canada Immigration (Permanent Resident) Visa application process.
